Large Established Garden

The brief here was to work with the family to steadily change the garden from a large and, albeit attractive, very shady and dark north facing space, to a garden with light and year round colour. The garden is constantly in use, the family being keen on entertaining and being outdoors.
Budgets meant that a complete overhaul was, and is, not possible and so we continue to work on individual projects within the garden to steadily increase the colour and to give more structure and purpose to the overall shape - aiming for a look that is more intentional than haphazard without being stiff. No contractors have been used here, all landscaping by Di Bray Gardens.
